 Royal Military College of Canada
In preparation for their 125th Anniversary, the Royal Military College of Canada decided to make the grounds of Point Frederick a priority. The Point is a beautiful setting at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River. The many and diverse requirements and passion surrounding this traditional and wonderful sacred site needed a unusual and fresh approach - the RMC in conjunction with the Royal Military Colleges Club of Canada hired Visionscapes to do a two day participatory event to obtain input from former cadets and graduates, existing staff on assignment, existing cadets, graduate students and others. Within one month, we produced the preliminary master plan. After minimal adjustments, we presented to the National Council of Canada and the plan received unanimous approval to proceed.
