- Spadina Garden Series - April 9, 2005 (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)- Virginia will speak on "Creating Sacred Spaces in Your Garden". The workshop explores philosophy, gardens and ourselves to uncover how each participant and garden is unique. Explore sacred spaces and take a journey towards defining these spaces for your own garden. - June 16- 18, 2003 Neocon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, IL. Virginia will speak on “Designing Gardens and Outdoor Spaces for Senior Living” with author, Elizabeth Brawley.

- December, 2003 "Shelterra" designed/donated for the "Design Hope" project supporting Hamilton's "Out Of The Cold" program Design Hope features various works and is now on Display at the Carnegie Gallery, 10 King Street West, Dundas (Ontario).
