  • Spadina Garden Series - April 9, 2005 (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)- Virginia will speak on "Creating Sacred Spaces in Your Garden".  The workshop explores philosophy, gardens and ourselves to uncover how each participant and garden is unique. Explore sacred spaces and take a journey towards defining these spaces for your own garden.  Workshop will take place at Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens located at 285 Spadina Road, Toronto, ON.   Call 416-392-6910 to purchase tickets or for more information.

  • April 3-6, 2003 Visionscapes will collaborate with Walt Rickli, Stone Sculptor at the upcoming Ontario Garden Show. Come and explore 'Garden through the Red Box'. Starts at 10am Thursday, April 3rd and runs through until 6pm Sunday, April 6th, 2003 at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario.
  • Virginia Burt appeared on The Mark Cullen Gardening Show on HGTV Canada during May and June of 2002.
    Two of Virginia’s client gardens are featured: A wonderful country setting in southern Ontario, and the Healing Garden at Shalom Village, a Long-Term Care facility in Hamilton, Ontario.   • May 26, 2003 The Kenneth G. Murray Alzheimer Research & Education Program (MAREP) Conference in Waterloo, Ontario. Virginia conducted two workshops entitled “Healing Gardens: An Inspiration”.
  • May 27, 2003 International Federation of Landscape Architects - 2003 World Congress, Calgary, Alberta. Virginia’s talk was entitled “Making Labyrinths: Creating Sacred Spaces”.
  • June 16- 18, 2003 Neocon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, IL. Virginia will speak on “Designing Gardens and Outdoor Spaces for Senior Living” with author, Elizabeth Brawley.

  • December, 2003 "Shelterra" designed/donated for the "Design Hope" project supporting Hamilton's "Out Of The Cold" program Design Hope features various works and is now on Display at the Carnegie Gallery, 10 King Street West, Dundas (Ontario).
